Terms and Conditions of purchase
I want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. I am available via email or DM to discuss any concerns you might have about jewellery purchase from me or if you have any questions before purchase.
Under the Australian Consumer Law, goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded.
You have the rights to receive goods that are of
acceptable quality
free from defects and are durable
goods that are as described, match the example or description and that are fit for the purpose specified.
However under ACL you are not entitled to a refund simply because you change your mind. As you can understand most items are either small batch, one off, or made to order in your size. Earrings are considered intimate items and cannot be returned due to health reasons.
If the item is faulty, I will fix or replace the item at my discretion within six months from purchase date. Jewellery that has been mistreated is not covered by this guarantee. Read about how to care for your jewellery here. If you have damaged your jewellery or lost one of your earrings please make contact with me to discuss.
Other important information
Please note that some items are not stocked and are made to order and this takes time to produce with only myself hand-making the jewellery. Usually orders would take 1 -5 working days however there may be delays due to sickness, unexpected demand or needing to order more materials. If this occurs you will be contacted as soon as possible to advise at each step.
Production time is different to delivery times.
Georgina Dunn Jewellery takes no responsibility for delays that Australia Post may be experiencing. If you have a deadline, you need to make that clear during the ordering process.
Postage costs are the responsibility of the customer in the case of any returns unless laid out specifically in your consumer rights.
