JMGQ 2026 Mother's Day Market at Richard Randall Art Studio - Mt Coot-tha

Georgina Degreef

Thanks to the events team from JMGQ for organising another great Mother’s Day Market for members in 2026. The Richard Randall Art Studio proved to be an excellent space to show all of our jewellery and to get together and share ideas. Here are a few of the photos I took of my work displayed at the exhibit.

Brisbane Grammar Art Show 2026 - A big thank you to all involved

Georgina Degreef

Thank you so much to the organisers of the Brisbane Grammar Art Show (BGAS) for inviting me to come back and exhibit with them in 2026. I had a great time working with the other jeweller’s who also participated, plus meeting so many people who loved and purchased my jewellery. Here are a few photos of the display from this year.

Upcoming Mother's Day members of JMGQ exhibition

Georgina Degreef

This year I will be entering 10 pieces into this exhibit at the Richard Randall Art Studio at Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens. These gardens are one of my favourite places to go in Brisbane, so maybe you might like to make a day trip see my work alongside my peers from the Jewellers and Metalsmith's Group QLD, and enjoy the beautiful gardens at the same time.

Thanks to the hard working members of the JMGQ who have been doing all the hard work making this exhibition possible.

Exciting news! Georgina Dunn Jewellery is now featured in the official Brisbane City Council Makers Directory.

Georgina Degreef

I just received word that the brand-new Brisbane Makers Directory is officially live, and I am so incredibly honoured to share that Georgina Dunn Jewellery is featured as part of this curated collection.

What is the Brisbane Makers Directory?

If you haven’t heard of it yet, the Brisbane City Council has put together an amazing resource that shines a spotlight on established, local online makers. To be included alongside such a talented group of Brisbane creatives is quite an honour. A huge thank you to the Brisbane City Council for supporting local small businesses and making it easier for people to shop small and stay local.

You can browse the Brisbane Makers Directory here.

Feature in the window display in BCC Suburban Business Hub in Nundah

Georgina Degreef

Today I have been setting up my display in the window of the Brisbane City Council’s Suburban Business Hub in Nundah. The Brisbane City Council provides this space for workshops, networking and as a bookable space for Brisbane Businesses.

As part of the display, Brisbane City Council is going to do some promotion of my small business. I am very grateful for this extra exposure but I am also thankful because I have been attending free business courses throughout the last few years and I always come away with a wealth of knowledge from every session.

Use this link to find out more about the other business on display in the window and read more about the artist displaying art on the walls inside the Hub.

I must admit that it is quite hard to take a photo of a window display with two layers of reflective glass!

If you are wondering the address of the Business Hub, it is 16 Aspinall St, Nundah QLD 4012.

Later today two other small businesses will be setting up displays in the cabinets either side of mine.

On the bottom shelf I have put some of the colours of my signature teardrop earring range along with a QR code so that customers can view them on my website.

I hope that you will spot my display from today until the 16th February 2024.
